Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion, Vocal, Strings, Theory, Compositions, Damien could do them all. It started at a very early age for him. The moment he had enough air to take in his first breath, what came out was not an infant’s cry, but a strong and mellow B note.  
 
His parents were greatly surprised and ecstatic that there only child would be a future musician, just like they were. Before he learned to talk, he could sing the basic Solfedge Scale. To Just Play: Part Four[Depinding on how tightly it was wound up before you grind it is how you can tell a good string from a bad one. If your quick enough, you can catch it right off the Fret board and test it with your own fingertips. Ridged ones leave a nice buzzy feeling in your nose. That is, if you snuff the powder. I don't do that. That's for first timers, sissys who can't handle the real deal. Give me a String anyday of the week. I'll take it straight, coiled even. But I learned my lesson with copper ones though, Fucking thing nearly tore my veins out and the images in my head! Had me fucked three ways to Tuesday...]

To Just Play: Part Two~The Curtain Rises; Blackend and tattered...   
~A wooden stage painted over with a ghostly white, gleams from the force of the overlights. The wing and back curtains a mirror of the main, tattered and dark.   
~Stage right stands a "Noteable" St. Andrews' Cross craved in the form of double eighth notes, one note higher then the other to stretch the limit of leg and limbs.

Well, this is a First..

Ok, I have yet to enter a journal on this site, and since I have been on it for a while, I guess it is time to write something down.

So far, I have done only two things on this site; Poetry, and some pictures. That's dandy and all, but I also let myself forget that a long, long time ago, I was pretty good at making up some stories, short and long. While listening to some random bands, I had this out of the blue idea of a story, so I started to write it out on here. Honestly, I don't think it is a bad start for me. I'm going to write out as much as I can and see how far it will go for me. This will be fun :D Something new and different to do for the new year and while I am stuck here in Denton waiting for my classes to start and what not.

So, if you like what I write, please, leave comments and helpful advise so I can keep going.
